Note: After updating the language in Spotify’s settings, fully relaunch the Chromebook app or refresh the web browser window for changes to take effect. Now your Spotify account will display in the selected language whether listening on your Chromebook or through Spotify’s web player.
Troubleshooting issues when trying to change the language on Spotify
Can’t find the language setting:
- On mobile, make sure you tap your profile picture first before accessing settings.
- On the desktop, click your profile name or account email to open the dropdown menu to get to settings.
- On the web player, click your profile icon in the top right corner before accessing settings.
Language changes not taking effect:
- Fully quit and relaunch the Spotify application if on mobile or desktop.
- For web players, do a hard browser refresh (Ctrl + Shift + R on Windows or Cmd + Shift + R on Mac).
Language keeps reverting back:
